Tajikistan Switches to Single Window for Registration of Export, Import and Transit Operations System

DUSHANBE, 02.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Tajikistan was the first in the Central Asian region to switch to the Single Window for Registration of Export, Import and Transit Operations System.
First Deputy Prime Minister Davlatali Said, leadership and officials of the Customs Service, representatives of ministries and departments took part in the official start ceremony of the implementation of the system, which was held yesterday in Dushanbe.
Said noted that the introduction of a single window system will facilitate accelerating the process of introducing modern information and communication technologies into the activities of the country’s relevant authorities, and the development of e-government.
The system will regulate 22 permits from 11 state and public bodies, allowing an individual to send a request the necessary applications from anywhere in the world to obtain a permit and a certificate required for customs clearance.
