CCER Chairman Meets with Delegation of CIS and International Observers

DUSHANBE, 10.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of Tajikistan (CCER) Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda held a meeting with the delegation of the CIS Observation Mission, led by Chief of Secretariat, Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States Burutin Sergey, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirzo Ulugbek Abdusalomov, as well as the delegation of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly mission, led by the Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs, Oleg Melnichenko, International observer for the Russian Federation and Afghanistan who is in the Dushanbe to monitor the presidential elections scheduled for October 11.
The International observers praised the organization of the election process, the measures taken to improve sanitation in the constituencies and polling stations, and wished success in this important political campaign.
