Central Commission for Elections and Referenda Holds Regular Meeting

DUSHANBE, 11.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The regular meeting of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) was held on December 10 under the leadership of the Chairman of the Commission Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda.
The meeting focused on issues related to the elections of a new convocation of deputies of the Assembly of Representatives and local Assemblies of People’s Deputies.
In order to uniformly apply the norms of the legislation on elections and to facilitate the activities of lower election commissions, the Guidelines for district single-mandate election commissions on organizing pre-election campaigning and the Guidelines on organizing voting in the elections of the Assembly of Representatives were reviewed and adopted.
Also, in order to facilitate the organization and conduct of elections of deputies of local Assemblies of People’s Deputies, the Standard Procedure for voting at polling stations for local Assemblies of People’s Deputies was reviewed and adopted.
