Chamber of Commerce and Industry Signs Cooperation Agreements with China Foreign Trade Center

DUSHANBE, 23.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – In a virtual signing ceremony held at the 128th China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, China Foreign Trade Center (CFTC) signed a cooperation agreement to formalize the partnerships with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan.
The new partnerships with six industrial and commercial institutions are part of a global partnership program initiated by CFTC, which has helped the Canton Fair form trade partnerships with 140 institutions in 81 countries. Among them are 60 industrial and commercial institutions from 39 Belt and Road Initiative countries.
«These new partnerships will allow the Canton Fair to offer better services, facilitate business processes and promote trade development for all parties. We wish the world an early victory against the COVID-19 pandemicso we can bring global companies together at the offline Canton Fair once again to build an open world economy,» said Li Jinqi, Vice President and Secretary General of Canton Fair and Director General of China Foreign Trade Center.
Harnessing the Canton Fair’s advantage as an open platform for global trade, CFTC has been expanding its trade networks and optimizing services for buyers by promoting the Canton Fair Global Cooperative Partnership Program to strengthen trade links with world-leading global industrial and commercial institutions. The program aims to create a comprehensive, multi-level and diverse ecosystem for win-win cooperation by sharing resources.
