DUSHANBE, 22.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Dilrabo Mansuri spoke at the International Inter-Party Forum SCO+ focusing on the Economy for People in a virtual format today.

The forum was organized by the initiative of the Chairman of the United Russia party Dmitry Medvedev, supported by leaders of the main ruling parliamentary parties of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) states.

Dilrabo Mansuri spoke on the topic «Energy efficiency as an important factor in ensuring a» green economy in Tajikistan» and noted that the current videoconference is a new conceptual approach to revising the contribution of the parties to the industrialization of the region through the mechanisms of presenting the economy to the people and the transition to a new technological system.

The total number of participants in full-time and part-time forms is expected to be about 1,000 delegates from over 30 countries.

During the forum, the heads of political parties from various countries discussed measures for overcoming the social and economic crisis generated by the coronavirus pandemic, the possibilities for pulling efforts together in the fight against dangerous infectious diseases, and also the development of green and digital technologies.

The head of the United Russia party said that the group would work on a permanent basis and its task would be to study the most important challenges faced not only by the SCO but also by the world as a whole. In particular, this relates to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, international terrorism, the spread of mass destruction weapons, organized crimes and other challenges.
