Tajikistan and UAE Discuss Mechanisms of Expanding Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 30.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda met with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Reem Al-Hashimy. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 47th session of the OIC Ministerial Council.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, mechanisms of expanding political, trade, economic and cultural cooperation.
The parties noted the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial collaboration in the framework of international and regional structures.
They also exchanged views on the preparation of the EXPO scheduled to be held in Dubai and Tajikistan’s participation in this event.
