Abdullah: Tajikistan Has Always Been A Supporter Of Peace And Stability In Afghanistan

DUSHANBE, 22.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan has always been a supporter of peace and stability in Afghanistan. This was stated at a briefing by the Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah following his meeting with President Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe.
Abdullah noted that he exchanged views on this issue with the President Rahmon, who has good experience in restoring peace.
“An exchange of views also took place on the project of peace and national reconciliation in Afghanistan,” Abdullah added.
According to him, President Rahmon noted that the restoration and strengthening of peace and stability in Afghanistan can play a key role not only for the development of this country, but also for the development and progress of all countries of the region.
Yesterday, Abdullah arrived in Tajikistan for a two day official visit and met with the Speaker of the Representatives Assembly Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirodjidin Muhriddin.
