The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

At the outset of the talks the parties exchanged warm holiday greetings and wished the people of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan well-being, peace and prosperity.

During the talks the sides also reaffirmed their mutual intention to continue developing Tajik – Kazakh bilateral and multilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

It was noted that despite the difficulties caused by the impact of Covid-19, the parties were able to sustain the positive development of the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

And that is why today Kazakhstan remains one of the main trade and economic partners of Tajikistan.
Concluding their talk, the two sides expressed their confidence that through joint efforts, win-win cooperation between the two countries will continue.
