Possibilities of Tajikistan Presented at the Economic Forum on Cooperation with the Central Asian Countries

DUSHANBE, 12.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Economic Forum on Cooperation with the Central Asian Region organized by the Economic Chambers of Austria (WKO) in the virtual format was held on December 10.
The event was attended by the representatives of the Economic Chambers of Austria and more than 50 Austrian industrial and commercial enterprises, as well as representatives of ministries and agencies from Central Asian states.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Austria Idibek Kalandar delivered an introductory statement.
Also, the representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade presented their views on the Prospects of Development of Economic, Trade and Investment Cooperation between Tajikistan and Austria, the representative of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies did the same on the Prospects of Investment in Industry of Tajikistan, and the representative of the Committee for Tourism Development on Tourism Opportunities of Tajikistan.
The Economic Forum has served as a platform for the promotion of investment opportunities in priority economic sectors of Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan, as well as discussion of issues relating to the enhancement of trade and economic ties of those counties with Austria.
