President Emomali Rahmon Delivers Address On Key Aspects of Domestic And Foreign Policy
DUSHANBE, 26.01.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On January 26, President Emomali Rahmon delivered his state of the nation address to the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan. As per tradition, the address was delivered at the Kokhi Somon Palace.
The event was attended by members of the National Assembly, deputies of the Representatives Assembly, Prime Minister, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, central judicial authorities, law enforcement agencies, government agencies, governors, heads of Implementing and Monitoring Investment Projects Centers, a group of former deputies of the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council, members of the Public Council, members of the Movement for National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, deputies of a number of public, political and creative associations, heads of republican enterprises and institutions, banks, business circles, entrepreneurs, creative youth, heads and staff of Dushanbe-based diplomatic missions, as well as media outlets.
President Rahmon outlined the main directions of the country’s domestic and foreign policy and set specific tasks for promoting foreign policy and ensuring objectives in economic, industrial, energy, transportation, security, defense, law enforcement, health care, culture, science, education, social protection of the population, youth, sports and tourism fields.
