Preparations for the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council’s Visiting Meeting Discussed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 10.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Preparations for the visiting meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, which in accordance with the approved work plan for 2021 is scheduled to be held in the first half of this year in Dushanbe, were discussed yesterday by the Chief of the National Assembly’s Office Ilyos Idriszoda and the Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Sergei Pospelov.
Tajikistan took over the chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) from Russia this year.
“Within the framework of Tajikistan’s presidency in the CSTO, a number of important events are planned in the country, including a visiting meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council,” Idriszoda said.
The parties also expressed their confidence that this year the epidemiological situation in all CSTO member states will normalize, and the events will be held in a full-fledged format.
