Çavuşoğlu: Turkey and Tajikistan Have Good Economic and Political Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 29.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, following the meeting with President Emomali Rahmon, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu briefed journalists in Dushanbe.
He noted that the meeting focused on the important issues of bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Tajikistan in the economic, investment, social, tourism and other spheres.
“We noted that the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in all these areas is very important for the further expansion of cooperation between our countries,” said Çavuşoğlu.
He also emphasized that the main topics of the meeting were the issues of security and stability in the region.
He added that the Turkish side expresses gratitude to Tajikistan for holding the Heart of Asia — Istanbul Process Ninth Ministerial Conference in Dushanbe.
“We value our relations with Tajikistan. Stability, prosperity and security of Tajikistan are the key factors for expanded cooperation,” Çavuşoğlu stressed.
Tomorrow, Çavuşoğl will attend the Heart of Asia — Istanbul Process 9th Ministerial Conference.
