Tajik Ambassador to Russia Meet the Chairman of the State Duma’s Committee for CIS Affairs

DUSHANBE, 11.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 9, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Imomuddin Sattorov met with the Chairman of the Committee of the Russian State Duma for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov.
The focused on issues of strengthening and expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia, as well as topical issues of the bilateral agenda.
Particular attention was paid to further interaction on the implementation of the agreements reached following the official visit of the National Assembly Speaker, Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali to Russia in November 2020.
They also exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, in particular, within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
