DUSHANBE, 03.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The parties continued their discussion on practical steps related to dialogue at the highest level.
While discussing current issues of bilateral relations they also touched upon on practical matters of the international and regional agenda, with a focus to regional security matters.
In this context, the sides exchanged views on the situation on the Tajik-Afghan border.
President of Tajikistan invited the President of Kazakhstan to pay an official visit to Tajikistan at the earliest convenient time in May this year. The invitation was accepted with satisfaction.
The exact dates of the visit will be agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
