President Emomali Rahmon Holds a Telephone Conversation with the President of Kazakhstan

DUSHANBE, 01.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the conversation, President Rahmon commented the President of Kazakhstan about the agreements reached by the Tajik and Kyrgyz sides aimed at the soonest settlement of the tense situation that has developed on the border of the two countries.
He noted the importance of finding ways to resolve all existing issues through negotiations and constructive dialogue.
The conversation also focused on topical issues in the international and regional agenda, especially the alarming development of the situation in Afghanistan.
Along with this, they exchanged views on the state and prospects of Tajik-Kazakh relations of friendship and strategic partnership.
The parties noted the importance of taking further joint measures to comprehensively strengthen and deepen full-scale cooperation between the two countries.
