FM Muhriddin Attends Antalya Diplomacy Forum Panel

DUSHANBE, 21.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 19, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended and made a statement at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum Panel entitled “Regional Cooperation in Asia”.
In his statement, the minister mentioned that over the past few decades Asia has become a dynamic region and has shown impressive growth.
“Its enormous economic potential has become a driving force behind the global development and stability. It is important to develop and implement joint investment projects taking into account the mutual interests of the parties by availing the great potential for investment cooperation. This step will strongly contribute to both tangible regional cooperation and the acceleration of economic growth in our countries,” said Muhriddin.
“Development of cooperation in the agrarian, agricultural and industrial sectors would enable to explore their untapped potential. The development of the regional transport and communication infrastructure is another priority area of interaction and Tajikistan is keen to expand further mutually beneficial regional cooperation in this area, particularly in creating and strengthening transport connectivity with other states of the region. To this end, Tajikistan attaches particular importance to the creation of new and restoration of regional transport and transit corridors,” he added.
Other participants from Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Malaysia also made statements.
