President Emomali Rahmon’s Working Trip to Danghara District

DUSHANBE, 17.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Dangara, Khatlon Region today.
The purpose of his visit is to launch a number of new socio-economic facilities, to examine the agricultural harvest in progress, and to meet with the locals.
The working trip began with the opening of the modern secondary educational institution No. 59, which accommodates for 1,240 students in two shifts.
He also attended the opening ceremonies of the modern building of the Department of Environmental Protection of Dangara, and the multilevel Dangara Medical and Social College built by domestic entrepreneur Farrukh Samizoda, equipped with a new model of laboratories for medical training, as well as a private Healthcare Professional institution and Nuri Tib Medical Rehabilitation Center, and 200-bed Dangara Regional infectious diseases hospital.
The ceremonies for the opening of the workshop for pasta manufacturing and fruit and vegetable processing, Fayzi Ali Butter production plant, with a production capacity of 3.5 tonnes of butter per day, as well as the National Food Safety Diagnostics Center followed the list.
He also attended the unveiling ceremonies of the National Flag Square with a 70-meter flagpole and the Simurgh Cultural and Recreation Park in the village of Aksu which occupies an area of 7 ha.
While opened a new drinking water supply line which provides water to 7,240 people of Bogparvar, Chamaniston and Bahor of Dangara district, President Rahmon inaugurated the Oftobruya drinking water reservoirs for supplying drinking water to the population of Astana, Osmondara and Olamafruz villages.
He was also present for the opening ceremony of the new building of the secondary educational institution No. 25. In the Nurbakhsh village of Danghara, President Rahmon inspected the harvesting campaign in the Somonjon cooperative farm, and a grain harvesting campaign in the Abdullo agricultural farm.
President Rahmon also attended the agricultural exhibition in the Hussaini farm of Lolazor village of Dangara district.
As of June 1, the region has produced 58,195 tonnes of grain, 294,844 tonnes of vegetables, 34,954 tonnes of potatoes, 3,111 tonnes of melons, and 10,746 tonnes of fruits. Compared to the same period last year, production of cereals has increased by 102.9%, vegetables by 116.4%, potatoes by 109.2%, melons by 137.5%, and fruits by 114.4%.
During the first five months of this year, the livestock sector produced 30,000 tonnes of meat, over 114,000 tonnes of milk, 38,000 000 eggs, 2,502 tonnes of wool, 201 tonnes of cocoons, 23.2 tonnes of honey and 483.1 tonnes of fish. The growth in comparison with the same period of last year has risen from 1.2 to 6 percent.
As of June 1, 4,959 tons of grain has been harvested out of 128,150 hectares.
Concluding his visit, President Rahmon held a meeting with the public representatives and activist of Khatlon Region.
