DUSHANBE, 19.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
The message reads in part:
“Excellency,
I sincerely congratulate you on your reelection as the UN Secretary General.
I am convinced that your rich experience and professional skills, as before, serve to enhance the authority of the UN, further improving its institutions, preserving and ensuring lasting world peace and stability, security, as well as implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasize Tajikistan’s readiness to effectively continue mutually beneficial cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies in all areas of common interests with a view of achieving the lofty goals and values of the United Nations.
I wish you good health, happiness, prosperity and new successes in in your future endeavors.»
