Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev Opens Social Facilities in Samarkand of Uzbekistan and Kubodiyon of Tajikistan Via Teleconference

DUSHANBE, 10.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the launch ceremonies of the secondary educational Institution in Uzbekistan’s Urgut district of Samarkand region and Health complex Friendship of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in Tajikistan’s Kubodiyon district of Khatlon Province via teleconference.
The social facilities have been built by governmental funds of the two nations within the framework of good relations and by the initiatives of the two leaders.
A three story modern secondary school In Urgut accommodates 1,400 students and is quipped with up-to-date laboratories, libraries, cafeterias, state-of-the-art computer classes, gymnasia and playgrounds.
It is presented as a gift of President Rahmon to the children of the inhabitants of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, which was built with a sign of high respect for the people of the friendly and neighboring country.
The Friendship of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan health complex was built with the support of President Mirziyoyev in Kubodiyon district of Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan, and included state-of-the-art and high-quality advanced medical instruments for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Last year the Spitamen district of Sughd province opened a new school for 600 students, which was built by Uzbek friends. The construction of a 200-seat pre-school institution by Tajikistan in Rishtan, Fergana Province, is under way.
