Permanent Representative Presents Credentials to the UN Secretary-General

DUSHANBE, 08.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Jonibek Hikmat presented his credentials to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The parties discussed initiatives of the President Emomali Rahmon related to water issues, particularly the Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development” and announcement of 2025 as a year of glaciers conservation.
They also exchanged views on security issues in the region of Central Asia, particularly Afghanistan.
