DUSHANBE, 31.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented state awards to a number of civil servants. The ceremony took place in the Palace of the Nation.
Among those who received orders and medals were public figures, civil servants, and heads of legislative and executive branches, former heads of parliament, and government officials.
More than 90 civil servants and figures from science, education and healthcare received the Jubilee Medal 30th Anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan and the honorary title of Honored Worker of Tajikistan for their outstanding achievements and valuable contribution to the development of the country.
Recognizing the valuable contribution of veterans and civil servants in the progress of society and sustaining peace and stability, President Rahmon stressed that each recipient has made great contributions toward the prosperity of the independent Tajikistan, and strengthening the foundations of statehood.
Historical experience has shown that gaining independence and freedom is not an easy task, but defending the blessings of freedom and the achievements of independence is much more difficult.
He also noted that with the support of the people, Tajikistan has passed the fateful test of history and turned it into an achievement. It is due to the patriotic and faithful efforts of the people of Tajikistan that we have reached such a prosperous and peaceful day.
