President Emomali Rahmon Congratulates Alexander Lukashenko on his Birthday

DUSHANBE, 30.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
During the telephone conversation, President Rahmon sincerely congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on his birthday. They also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which took place on September 5.
During the talks the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Belarus, as well as the current situation in Afghanistan.
The two leaders also discussed preparations for the upcoming Dushanbe CSTO summit.
In view of this, the importance of further development of constructive cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus in all areas of mutual interest was emphasized.
