A Package of Agreements Signed Following Tajikistan-Pakistan Talks

Tajikistan-Pakistan talks took place in Palace of Nation in Dushanbe, following which a package of cooperation agreements was signed.
President Emomali Rahmon and Imran Khan adopted the Joint Declaration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan.
Then, President Rahmon and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan witnessed the signing of an following agreements:
MoU on mutual cooperation for archives and libraries development between the two governments of Tajikistan and Pakistan;
Protocol to amend the existing convention between Governments of Tajikistan and Pakistan for avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income dated May 13, 2004.
MOU between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan on cooperation in the field of industrial property
MOU between the National Bank of Tajikistan and State Bank of Pakistan on supervisory cooperation;
MoU between Financial Monitoring Department under the National Bank of Tajikistan and Financial Monitoring Unit of Pakistan concerning cooperation in the exchange of financial intelligence related to money laundering-related predicate offences and financing of terrorism;
MoU between the governments of Pakistan and Tajikistan for cooperation in the sphere of tourism, hospitality and investment in the tourism sector;
Action Plan for the year 2022 on the Implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in the field of Physical Training and Sports;
MOU on Cooperation between the National Information Agency of Tajikistan “Khovar” and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP);
Agreement on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry
MOU on cooperation between Tajik National University and Indus University of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
Mr Rahmon and Mr Imran Khan made press statements following their talks.
