Dushanbe and Nur-Sultan Become Sister Cities

Dushanbe and Nur-Sultan of Kazakhstan entered into an agreement to establish a sister cities relationship.
Speaker of 5he National Assembly of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali together with the Mayor of Nur-Sulton Altai Kulginov inked the agreement.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Emomali noted his appreciation regarding the rapid development of Nur-Sultan and stressed that the expansion of ties between the administrative-territorial units of the two countries, especially the capitals, will strengthen interstate relations.
During the meeting the parties paid special attention to the exchange of experiences in the field of urban governance, transport infrastructure, public order, as well as boosting cooperation in the field of trade, industry, tourism, culture, youth and sports.
Dushanbe is looking forward to a strong partnership with Nur-Sultan to attract direct investment and effectively use the favorable business environment
