DUSHANBE, 16.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda received a copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Tajikistan Tim Jones.
The parties expressed their interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade, economic, and humanitarian areas.
They discussed the interactions within the framework of international organizations, in particular preparations for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), as well as other issues of mutual interest.
Huseinzoda congratulated Jones on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.
