DUSHANBE, 19.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in Amman in collaboration with the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding in Georgetown (USA) prepared the 12th ranking of the World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims called The Muslim 500.
This ranking yet again includes the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The ranking also includes the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, that of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Mufti of Uzbekistan Usman Alimov, the striker of the Egyptian national team, and Mohammed Sallah, player for the English football club Liverpool.
The study has been published annually since 2009. Every year, this ranking includes individuals who have political, ideological, cultural, or other influence on Muslims around the world.
