Tajikistan and UNDP Discuss the Implementation of Joint Projects

DUSHANBE, 04.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On Friday as part of the General Debates of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a meeting with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Achim Steiner.
The parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the UNDP, implementation of joint projects of this UN entity in the country, as well as the latest developments in Afghanistan.
Regarding the delivery of humanitarian aid to the population of Afghanistan, Muhriddin stressed that the international community should provide direct humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, in particular to the residents of the Panjshir province.
