Permanent Representative Voices Tajikistan’s Position on Afghan Situation at the UN Security Council

DUSHANBE, 18.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Jonibek Hikmat participated and addressed the UN Security Council meeting on Afghanistan.
In addition to the current members of the UN Security Council, some neighboring countries likewise attended the meeting.
Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Deborah Lyons briefed on the situation in Afghanistan.
In his statement, Hikmat voiced Tajikistan’s position regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
