DUSHANBE, 30.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who is in Tajikistan to take part in the 14th Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
The discussion focused on the 15th Summit of Heads of Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization that took place recently in Turkmenistan.
Discussing a number of forward-looking topics on the bilateral cooperation agenda, the participants called for the consistent implementation of previously reached agreements and comprehensive preparations for the official return visit of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Tajikistan.
They also discussed the current state of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.
