Rustam Emomali Takes Part in the CIS Council of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly Meeting

DUSHANBE, 26.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended the meeting of the Council of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).
The meeting was held in a mixed format under the leadership of the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly and the Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko.
The meeting was also included the Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, Vice Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the Moldavian Parliament Igor Grosu, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva, Speaker of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammedova, that of Uzbekistan T. Narbaeva, that of Turkmenistan G. Mammedova, as well as the Vice Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Aida Kasymalieva.
Parliamentarians reviewed a total of 23 current issues of cooperation within the framework of the IPA CIS.
They also summed up results of the work of the organization for this year, and approved the work plan of the IPA CIS for 2022.
