Speaker of the National Assembly Meets Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 26.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Gavvam oglu Askerov at his request.
Rustam Emomali congratulated Askerov on the beginning of his diplomatic mission and expressed hope that the necessary steps will be taken to strengthen relations between the two countries.
The meeting focused on issues of interstate relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
They emphasized their rapid development over the past 30 years.
The parties also discussed the prospects for the development and expansion of bilateral interstate, inter-parliamentary, and interregional cooperation, including strengthening the legal interstate framework.
