Tajikistan to Host First Business Forum Central Asia — Republic of Korea

DUSHANBE, 19.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – In order to implement the memorandum of understanding between Central Asia countries and the Republic of Korea on the establishment of the Business Council signed on June 29, 2020, as well as to expand business contacts between the business communities of the countries, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan plans to hold the first business forum of business circles of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.
The forum will be held in Dushanbe on November 29.
The forum is organized by the CCI of Tajikistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, and the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management.
The forum will take place on the eve of the 14th Cooperation Forum with the participation of foreign ministers of Central Asia and Korea, which will be held on November 30.
The current forum will become a platform for discussing further trade and investment cooperation of business circles in priority areas, with the participation of representatives of the private sector.
It is also focused on involving small and medium-sized businesses in the implementation of joint projects, including e-commerce, agribusiness, food security, industrial development, transport and logistics, investment interaction, in order to develop the export potential of the participating countries and create a stable network of cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries.
