Tajik Honey Showcased at the International Exhibition in Qatar
DUSHANBE, 04.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik beekeepers are presenting their products at the second international exhibition of honey, which began on February 28 in Doha, Qatar.
Products of beekeeping, including best varieties of Tajik honey, are on display at the Souq Waqif Honey Exhibition 2019, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Tajik delegation has met with a number of Qatari businessmen and heads of Qatari trading companies. The development of mutually beneficial trade and investment cooperation and the ways of exporting honey and other agricultural products of Tajikistan to Qatar were discussed.
Around 124 beekeeping companies from 20 countries, along with 45 Qatari trading firms engaged in the import of honey and agricultural products are participating in the exhibition, which will continue until March 7.
