President Emomali Rahmon Holds Phone Talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin

DUSHANBE, 10.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin following an emergency online summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation’s Collective Security Council.
During the talks the counterparts discussed the issues regarding Afghanistan, in particular, the situation at the Tajik-Afghan border.
They agreed to maintain contact at different levels and stressed the need to further strengthen security collaboration.
