DUSHANBE, 04.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon exchanged congratulatory messages with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The congratulatory telegram to President Xi Jinping reads:

“Dear Mr. President!

These days we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and China.

At this critical moment in the modern history of bilateral relations between our nations, I extend my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to you and the friendly people of China.

It is gratifying that during this period, the friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and China continue to develop, reaching a high level of comprehensive strategic partnership.

We express our deep satisfaction with the current state of mutually beneficial relationship between our countries, which is based on the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect and trust, and mutual assistance. We are optimistic about their long-term prospects.

We are confident that cooperation between the two friendly countries and close neighbors, relying on the constructive experience accumulated so far, will continue to develop for the benefit of the fundamental interests of our people.

Confirming the continued interest of the Tajik side in the effective advancement of this process, I express my readiness to further enrich Tajik-Chinese relations with new content.

In a telegram to President Emomali Rahmon it is noted:

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Tajikistan, on behalf of the People’s Government of the PRC and myself, I convey to you and the people of Tajikistan my sincere congratulations and best wishes.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 30 years ago, Chinese-Tajik relations have achieved leapfrog development and reached the best level in history. In particular, in recent years, the two countries have taken the lead in building a community of development and a community of security, setting an example of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

The two sides have increasingly deepened strategic mutual trust, firmly supported each other on issues concerning each other’s core interests, with booming cooperation in various fields and fruitful results in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
