Deputy FM Meets Ambassador of the Netherlands to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 04.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Tajikistan Andre Carstens.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Netherlands and discussed the results of the meetings of the Core Group on the preparation of the UN Conference on the Midterm Review of the Water Decade (March 22-24, 2023 in New York) in Dushanbe and other issues of mutual interest.
They emphasized the importance of holding the scheduled meetings within the framework of the bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also focused on the implementation of joint initiatives on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and the Netherlands, as well as the participation of the Dutch delegation in the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028” which will take place in Dushanbe from June 6 through June 9 this year.
