DUSHANBE, 08.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the Ambassador of Belarus to Tajikistan Viktor Denisenko at his request.

Initially, Rustam Emomali congratulated Viktor Denisenko on his appointment to the post of Ambassador of Belarus to Tajikistan.

Speaker of the National Assembly expressed satisfaction with the state of mutually beneficial relations between Tajikistan and Belarus with an emphasis on strong political, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural ties based on regular meetings of the heads of the two states.

The meeting focused on the development of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, as well as within the framework of interregional and international organizations.

Along with this, the parties emphasized the need to discuss the state and prospects of multilateral cooperation between the National Assembly of Tajikistan and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, as well as to strengthen the results achieved within the framework of legal and legislative norms in the branches of the executive power of the two countries.
