President Emomali Rahmon Visits Egyptian Industrial Enterprises

DUSHANBE, 09.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of his official visit to Cairo, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Egyptian Share Holding Company GYPTO pharma and T&C Garments enterprise.
Gypto Pharma is the largest pharmaceutical plant in the Middle East, with an area of 180,000 square meters, operating with world class practices and regulations, focusing on securing the local market with highest quality products.
Following the familiarization with the activities of the Gypto Pharma, President Emomali Rahmon had a constructive talk with its officials regarding the development of cooperation and opportunities and use of medicinal plants of Tajikistan.
President Emomali Rahmon also visited the joint venture company T&C Garments founded by Egyptian Tolba Group and Turkish Tay Group.
T&C Garments was established in 2010 and specializes in the manufacture of denim garments for leading global brands.
Using the advanced technology and systems, the manufacturing facility in Obour, Egypt encompasses 68,000 square meters and has almost 4,000 employees.
Following the inspection of the activities of the enterprise and its production potential, President Emomali Rahmon met with its officials regarding establishing joint ventures, and to discuss the possibility of using the country’s natural resources, including cotton fiber and high-quality fabrics.
