Tajik Ambassador to Russia and Head of Bashkortostan Discuss State of Interregional Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 07.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda paid a working visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan on March 3, where he met with its head Radiy Khabirov, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on the state of interaction between the regions of Tajikistan and Bashkortostan, as well as the prospects for trade and economic cooperation.
The officials noted the need for expanding cooperation in the areas of labor migration, the agro-industrial complex, attracting investments, education and science, including the training of highly qualified personnel, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and the creation of joint ventures.
Also, Ambassador Gulmahmadzoda met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkortostan Timur Khakimov.
The meeting focused on topical issues of development of bilateral cooperation, including the organization of business forums.
Gulmahmadzoda emphasized the importance of increasing the pace of cooperation and the volume of trade between the regions of Tajikistan and Bashkortostan.
He also noted the interest of Tajik enterprises in the export of agricultural and industrial products of Tajikistan to Bashkortostan and called on the business community to actively cooperate.
The meeting was also attended by business circles of Bashkortostan interested in cooperation with Tajikistan.
