Citizens Visiting 16 Countries and Arriving in Tajikistan Will Be Quarantined for 14 Days
DUSHANBE, 19.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) — Tajik and foreign states’ citizens, who have visited 16 countries and arrived in Tajikistan, will be quarantined for 14 days in order to prevent the import and spread of a new coronavirus COVID-19, the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
“According to the Decree of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Tajikistan, Tajik and foreign countries’ citizens, who have been to China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Afghanistan, France, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Japan, US and arrived in Tajikistan, will be quarantined for 14 days in order to prevent the import and spread of a new coronavirus COVID-19 to the country,” the ministry’s statement reads.
The ministry also reminds that Tajik citizens, who are abroad, can contact country’s diplomatic missions and consular offices in foreign countries in case of need. Missions’ addresses are available in the following link.
