FM Muhriddin Attends Central Asia + Japan Dialogue Ministerial Meeting

DUSHANBE, 16.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended the ministerial meeting of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue via videoconference.
The meeting focused on further strengthening cooperation between Central Asia and Japan, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, countering the COVID-19 pandemic, strengthening border control, implementation of the sustainable development goals in the region, and cooperation in the international and regional issues.
Muhriddin emphasized that Tajikistan has established good cooperation with Japan on the development and implementation of various projects in the fields of agriculture, education, energy, industry, healthcare, transport, tourism, and IT technology to achieve its sustainable development goals.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue mutual beneficial cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.
