Representatives of Brunei Darussalam Invited to the Dushanbe Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 25.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 23 on the sidelines of the Fourth Asia-Pacific Water Summit, the delegation of Tajikistan consisting of the Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Minister of Development of Brunei Darussalam Dato Seri Setia Ir Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar.
The meeting focused on issues related to bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Minister of Brunei was invited to cooperate with Tajikistan in organizing the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development,» 2018-2028 titled “Catalyzing Water Action and Partnership at the Local, National, Regional and Global Levels” to be held from June 6 through June 9 in Dushanbe and the United Nations Conference on the Comprehensive Midterm Review of the Water Decade (March 22-24, 2023, New York).
