DUSHANBE, 05.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Electric buses and electric trolley buses manufactured by Akia Avesta company of Tajikistan attracted the attention of foreign companies at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. CENTRAL ASIA.
Companies from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have expressed interest in cooperation in the export of these vehicles from Tajikistan.
If an agreement is reached, then this important step will be taken in the near future, said a representative of the Akia Avesta Suhrob Shirinov.
Shirinov said that the Akia Avesta buses of Tajikistan are produced in accordance with European environmental standards Euro 5 and Euro 6, which is one of the most competitive products in the world.

Today, the company produces 12, 9, and 8-meter intercity buses and trolley buses. Its annual production capacity is up to 300 vehicles, depending on the market demand.
“The company’s double-decker buses are produced in two versions, with open and closed tops,” said Shirinov.
The INNOPROM. CENTRAL ASIA was held from April 26 through April 28 in Tashkent, where more than 200 foreign companies and trade delegations from CIS countries, France, Italy, the Netherlands, India, Ireland, and Japan took part. Tajikistan was represented at this major exhibition by 28 industrial enterprises and workshops, including the Akia Avesta company. The company showcased its modern electric buses, trolley buses, electric trolley buses, and buses powered by natural gas, manufactured under the brand AKIA-Oriyo Made in Tajikistan.
