DUSHANBE, 13.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of condolences to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we received the news of the death of your dear brother — President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He was a prominent political and public figure and one of the greatest personalities of the country, the region and the world, and made a great contribution to the peaceful life of society and progress of the Emirates.

It is due to his constant effort that the constructive bilateral relations between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates have been developing and expanding to a higher level. I fondly remember my fruitful meetings with him. The people of Tajikistan today have lost an old and sincere friend.

On my own behalf, and on behalf of the government and the people of Tajikistan I express my deep sympathy and sincere condolences to all the brotherly people of the United Arab Emirates and I ask the Almighty God to rest his soul in eternal peace, and wish patience for his family and relatives.
