DUSHANBE, 16.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the summit meeting of the heads of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation in Moscow.
Taking part in the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan were President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, and the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation Stanislav Zas.
The meeting was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the signing of the agreement of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the 20th anniversary of the association itself.
Members of the CSTO Collective Security Council discussed the implementation of reached agreements, as well as further development of member nations, and the situation in the CSTO responsible zone.
Following the meeting, a statement of the Collective Security Council in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, and a decision on awarding participants of the peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan were adopted.
