Tajikistan and Russia Discuss Energy Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 23.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmonzoda met with the Russian Minister of Energy Nikolai Shulginov who is in Dushanbe on a working visit.
The meeting focused on Russia’s participation in the Coordinating Electricity Council of Central Asian countries as a full member.
Shulginov also met with the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Juma with whom he discussed the work of the joint venture OJSC Sangtuda HPP-1 and issues related to the trouble-free operation of energy systems in Central Asia.
From May 25 through May 27, Dushanbe will host the 6th Annual International Congress and Exhibition Hydropower Central Asia and the Caspian 2022.
