Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Expand Ecology and Environmental Protection Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 06.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan Bahodur Sheralizoda met with the delegation of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe.
The meeting focused on the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and development prospects for environmental protection.
As part of the visit of Uzbek colleagues, which will end on May 11, a number of events and meetings in the field of ecology and the environment are planned in order to exchange experience and expand bilateral cooperation.
A number of trips are planned to the reserves of specially protected natural areas in districts of republican subordination, Shamsiddin Shohin, Dangara, and Darvoz districts.
