Gold Mining Increased Significantly in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 19.07.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Gold mining industry of Tajikistan increased its production by 15% in the first half of 2022. This was noted yesterday by the Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir at a press conference.
“Gold production in Tajikistan increased by 15% in six months of 2022, which is a good indicator,” he said.
He stressed that two large gold mining enterprises, TALCO Gold and TBEA Dushanbe were launched in 2022.
Their activities will further increase the volume of production of precious metals and have a positive impact on the country’s macroeconomic indicators.
“By the end of next year, we intend to create four enterprises for the processing of precious metals for jewelry, including in Dushanbe,” Kabir specified.
According to him, a total of 19 enterprises are engaged in gold mining in Tajikistan.
