Tajik Ambassador to Turkey Visits Enterprises of the Beylikdüzü Organized Industrial Zone in Istanbul

DUSHANBE, 11.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 8, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov visited the production enterprises of the Birlik site in the Belikdüzü organized industrial zone in Istanbul, and held meetings with the leadership of small and medium-sized businesses in the private sector.
Representatives of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises were provided with information on the current state of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey, trade turnover, the process of attracting direct Turkish investments to Tajikistan, the initiative of the government of Tajikistan in connection with the announcement of 2022-2026 as the Years of Industrial Development, the possibility of visa-free entry of Turkish citizens into the country, the introduction of the new Tax Code, as well as other useful information about investment opportunities in Tajikistan.
The heads of enterprises expressed their interest in the implementation of investment projects in Tajikistan.
The event was followed by a visit to enterprises which manufacture export-oriented products, including metal and plastic auto parts.
