Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Meets Mayor of Yekaterinburg

DUSHANBE, 29.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 26, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda met with the Mayor of Yekaterinburg Alexei Orlov.
Gulmahmadzoda expressed interest in developing cooperation in the field of education, training of workers, trade, economy, as well as in attracting tourists.
The meeting also focused on the allocation of land for the construction of a cultural center in Yekaterinburg.
On the same day, he also met with the President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andrey Besedin.
The meeting focused on topical issues of developing trade and economic cooperation between the regions of Tajikistan and the Sverdlovsk region, including the participation of business circles in Tajikistan-Russia Investment Forum which will be held in September 2022 in Dushanbe.
While emphasizing the importance of increasing the pace of cooperation and trade turnover, Gulmahmadzoda noted Tajikistan’s interest in exporting agricultural and industrial products to Sverdlovsk and called on the business community to actively cooperate in this endeavor.
